PVC BI Sticker for CJ’s Oil Bottle Packaging

Participated in Beksul renewal oil bottle design in CJ Cheiljedang. Initial concept was directed to classic and natural looking emblems imitating the wax stamps on envelops. 

However, the cost of each plastic mold was comparatively high and suction robot was needed for production line. To solve these problem, we choose the material of the sticker to PVC, which is more flexible and possible to roll on surface and efficient in production time, with silk screen print and high frequency metal-mould formation. 

In 2013, 900,000 of the bottle with emblems produced annually. Implementing design concept was significant goal for this project. Enhanced the adhesive strength and aged rolls to solve material curing. Automation of emblem is succeeded and produced with 4 different kinds of oil, canola oil,  grape-seed oil, olive oil and rice oil.
