Design tangible and digital products. Design and ideate visual design concepts. Produce mock-ups, 3d modeling, render pictures, logo and logomarks, graphics, packaging and techpacks. Ensure the outcome meets client’s taste.

DESIGNER, MEALKITT, SEOUL, KOREA — 2016-2017

Implement and provide design input to help builld better food delivery system. Shoot and process food and lifestyle photography. Generate ideas that keep photo fresh and inspiring. Work closely with the engineering and product teams to help improve our user experience. Manage vendors to keep packaging quality and samples.

ASSOCIATE DESIGNER, SHINSEGAE, SEOUL, KOREA — 2016

Develop furniture designs through sketching and 3D modeling. Manage the development process through daily communication with internal teams, vendors, agents, and brand partners. Collaborate with brand partners to create specification supplimentary products and packages. Organize contents and storytelling books of product lines.

ASSOCIATE DESIGNER, JAMBU, NYC, NY — 2014-2015

Jambu is a private footwear brand from Vida shoes international which has been in footwear industries for more than 30 years. Sketched design concepts and communicated with developers. Managed CAD drawings, materials, tech-pack and revised pullover pattern. Confirm samples for mass production. Traveling to China 2 times per year for product development.

JUNIOR DESIGNER, OLIVET, NYC, NY — 2014

Designed travel goods like backpacks and luggages. Draw sketches with photoshop and illustrator. Used Solidworks for modeling and send it to China for mold sampling. JUNIOR DESIGNER, CJ, SEOUL, KOREA — 2011-2013

Designed structural packaging for food. Own two patents: carton box blueprints and cup holder blueprints. Through mass production, material research and cost reduction, I gained foundation of knowledge on packaging industry such as manufacturing processes and feasible material implementation on food packaging. Collaborated with engineers, production and food researcher in a team. Also, experienced in succeed in production automation for bottle labeling.

INTERN, HYUNDAI MOTOR, RUSSELSHEIM, GERMANY — 2010

Designed conceptual steering wheel for concept car, HED8. Sketched ideas, 3D modeling, rendering, clay modeling like Milling+hand sculpting. Communicated with senior designers and engineers to understand the main concept of HED8. Focus on the form aesthetic, ergonomics and human center design for users.
